Learn to cook a Delhi-inspired dinner, with rich Butter Chicken, homemade Garlic & Coriander Naan and fragrant Pilau Rice.

In this hands-on Indian cooking class in Edinburgh, we’ll spend 2.5 hours cooking some much-loved dishes inspired by Delhi and North Indian cooking.

You’ll learn how to make a rich, creamy Butter Chicken, getting to grips with the spices and techniques that give the sauce plenty of depth and flavour. You’ll also make Garlic & Coriander Naan and fragrant Pilau Rice to go alongside it – because knowing how to make a good curry is even better when you can make the full dinner to go with it.

You’ll make everything on the menu, working in pairs, so you’ll get hands-on with every recipe. Along the way, you’ll pick up plenty of tips for cooking with spices, building flavour and getting your Naan just right, with recipes and techniques you can recreate in your own kitchen.

As with all classes at The Wee Kitchen, this is a relaxed, sociable cooking experience. There’ll be demonstrations and guidance along the way, plenty of time to cook, and we’ll sit down together at the end to enjoy everything we’ve made.

Come on your own, bring a friend or make a date of it. No previous cooking experience is needed, and there’s plenty here for more confident cooks to get stuck into too.

The class is BYOB, so bring along something you’d like to drink while you cook.
