I’m Ailsa, and I run The Wee Kitchen Cookery School, offering fun, relaxed cooking classes in Edinburgh.

My journey into teaching cookery has taken me all across the UK, sharing food and experiences with people wherever I’ve landed. Along the way, I’ve taught everything from online classes to in-person workshops, including working as a freelance tutor with the fantastic Little Kitchen in Bristol.

Now settled in Edinburgh, The Wee Kitchen Cookery School is my home for hands-on, in-person classes where I can bring people together through food.

I’ve always loved both cooking and teaching, so creating this space felt like a natural fit. I’m also passionate about travel, and that inspiration runs through many of my classes - from Spanish tapas to Delhi-inspired dishes. My aim is to help you experience the joy of exploring the world through food.
