Join The Wee Kitchen Cookery School for a hands-on Scottish cooking class in Edinburgh. This small-group experience is designed for travellers and food lovers looking to discover Scotland’s traditional dishes in a relaxed and welcoming kitchen setting.

During the class, you’ll learn how to cook Cullen Skink, Scotland’s famous smoked haddock soup, using classic ingredients and techniques. While the soup cooks, you’ll enjoy a curated Scottish cheese tasting, featuring a selection of regional cheeses served with oatcakes.

You’ll also bake traditional Scottish shortbread, one of the country’s most iconic sweet treats, before sitting down together to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared.

This experience offers a practical and enjoyable introduction to Scottish food, combining hands-on cooking with the chance to taste and share classic dishes.

Scheduled Group Class:
This is a shared cooking class with other guests. Classes typically run for approximately 2.5 hours and operate on selected dates.

BYOB:
This class is BYOB. You’re welcome to bring drinks to enjoy during the session. We’ll sit down together at the end to enjoy the food prepared.

Suitability:
Suitable for all levels of cooking experience.

before booking. All dietary requirements must be stated at the time of booking.

Working Style:
You may be paired with other guests, depending on group size. The class is fully hands-on with guidance throughout.

Minimum 4 guests required for the class to run
Maximum 12 guests per class

All classes take place at Cyrenians Flavour and Haver Cook School in Leith, Edinburgh.
