Eat with Ailsa has officially become The Wee Kitchen Cookery School, a cookery school offering hands-on cooking classes in Edinburgh.

Over the coming weeks, Eat with Ailsa will be transitioning to a new name and brand: The Wee Kitchen Cookery School. If you’ve previously booked a class, followed along online, or been part of the Eat with Ailsa community, I wanted to share a little more about what’s changing - and what isn’t.

From Eat with Ailsa to The Wee Kitchen Cookery School

When I first started Eat with Ailsa, it was just me in a home kitchen with a laptop and a mobile phone. Since then, something really special has grown. Classes have filled up, familiar faces have returned again and again, and a wonderful community has formed around the kitchen. What began as a one-woman operation is now slowly becoming a small team. Because of that, it feels like the right time for the next step.

Eat with Ailsa is becoming The Wee Kitchen Cookery School.

The new name reflects what the business has grown into — a welcoming cookery school where people can come together to cook, learn new skills, and share good food.

What will change?

Very little about the classes themselves. The cooking classes will still be the same relaxed, sociable, hands-on experiences you know and love. The atmosphere, the style of teaching, and the focus on cooking great food together will remain exactly the same. The main changes you’ll start to see are the new name, branding, and website as Eat with Ailsa transitions into The Wee Kitchen Cookery School.

New branding and website

Over the coming weeks the branding will gradually be updated. I’m incredibly excited about this part, as I have someone amazing working on the new look for The Wee Kitchen Cookery School. If things look slightly temporary in places just now, that’s why - everything will be updated in time. There may even be some Wee Kitchen Cookery School merch appearing soon too, so suggestions for what you’d like to see are very welcome.

New cookery class dates coming soon

New class dates will also be going on sale next week, so keep an eye out if you’re hoping to join us in the kitchen soon. Whether you’ve already attended a class or are thinking about coming along for the first time, I’d love to welcome you to The Wee Kitchen Cookery School.
